Brian studied Biology at Kansas State University, then traveled to teach English in Japan for 4 years. On returning to the states, he received his Counseling Psychology Master concurrent with the Paramedic Associates and practiced several years as a psychotherapist and working as a paramedic. Brian speaks English, Spanish and Japanese and is comfortable seeing patients of all ages. Brian has been practicing medicine for eighteen years in many settings including Family Medicine, Infectious Disease, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Internal, Hospital, and ER Medicine.
Brian traveled extensively to places like Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, Central America, and all over the United States. He was able to work on a crab boat for a season out of the Port of Dutch Harbor. Brian adopted an Irish Wolfhound Catahoula Leopard Mix dog named Earl who has become his traveling buddy.
