Biography:
Iraan General Hospital is pleased to welcome Kevin Davis, PA-C, LP to our medical team. Kevin joins our organization with deep gratitude for the opportunity to serve the people of Iraan and the surrounding communities. He is genuinely excited to become part of this growing, caring community and looks forward to learning from the unique experiences, needs, and strengths that make West Texas special.Kevin's commitment to service began more than 30 years ago in Argyle, Texas, where he started his medical career as a volunteer firefighter and paramedic. Serving the community that raised him strengthened his compassion and shaped the foundation of his lifelong dedication to helping others. During his time in Argyle, he earned his Associate of Applied Science in Paramedicine and played a pivotal role in establishing the Argyle ambulance service, which continues to operate today. His leadership and devotion to service led to rapid advancement, earning the rank of Assistant Chief and the honor of Denton County Firefighter of the Year in 2000.
Kevin continued his fire service career with the Roanoke and Flower Mound Fire Departments, where he chaired the protocol development committee responsible for writing treatment protocols for 13 EMS agencies. He also served the North Texas region as a critical care flight paramedic with CareFlite Helicopter for 10 years. Prior to his fire career, Kevin earned an Associate Degree in Theology, grounding his work in compassion, humility, and integrity.
He later expanded his medical education by earning a Bachelor of Emergency Health Sciences from UT Health Science Center in San Antonio, followed by a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of North Dakota in 2016. Since then, Kevin has practiced in general family medicine, taught nurse practitioner and physician assistant students, and provided medical control for busy EMS systems. He has been honored four consecutive years as Medical Provider of the Year for his work in endocrine disorders, headache management, and internal medicine. Between 2016 and 2020, he successfully opened and operated two independent medical practices. He also serves as an Advisory Board Member for Pfizer, contributing his clinical insight to broader patient care initiatives in migraine treatments.
Kevin's greatest joy is his family. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Dani, and together they are blessed with five children and five energetic, deeply cherished grandchildren. When he is not working, Kevin can be found spending time with his family, teaching in the EMT school he and Dani own, or volunteering as a training officer for an Emergency Services District.
Kevin is honored to join Iraan General Hospital and looks forward to serving this community with humility, dedication, and a sincere desire to grow alongside the people he cares for.
